Obituary for Mary Margaret O'Daniel (Lard)

Mrs. Mary Margaret Lard O'Daniel, 68 , of Elgin Crossroads left this Earthly life for a life Eternal in the presence of Our Savior Jesus Christ November 12, 2014.
Visitation will be Friday night from 5pm to 9pm November 14, 2014 at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral will be at Pleasant Valley Church Of Christ November 15, 2014 at 11am (Viewing from 10am to 11am). Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetary.
Our brother Ronnie Ray will be officiating.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, George and Mary Lard, brothers James Lard, Billy Joe Lard, and Holland Lard, son, Frank O'Daniel jr.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frank O'Daniel, daughter Diane Franks (Tom), son Andy O'Daniel (Barbara), grandchildren Stacey Eldredge, Nathan Franks, Jean O'Daniel, A.J. O'Daniel, and one she claims as hers Christopher Dixon. She has 4 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother Roger Lard (Carol), sisters Carrie Murphy and Myra Moore (Bobby).
Pallbearers will be Nathan Franks,Michael Murphy, Randal Lard, Ricky Lard, Christopher Dixon, and Dr. Jeffery Schneider.
She was retired from Foodland Elgin as a cashier for 20 years. She loved being around people and her customers loved her. She was a New Testament Christian with the firm belief in the True Word of God and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
She had many names...Daughter, Sister, Wife, Momma, Granny, Nanna, Friend, and Christian.
She fought the fight with all she had, faced it with smiles and laughter and never lost her faith.
