Obituary for Charles Wilson Narmore

Charles Wilson Narmore, 95, of Killen died Sunday, December 20, 2015, at Glenwood Nursing and Rehab.
Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2015, at Elkins East Chapel from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at 11 AM in the Chapel, with Bro. W.L. Wallace officiating. Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery.
He was a devout Christian and long time member of Center Star Cumberland Presbyterian Church and Center Star Church.
Mr. Narmore served in the US Army during WWII with front line action in Bougainville and The Solomon Islands in the South Pacific . He retired from Reynolds Metals in 1983.
Mr. Narmore is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Narmore; son, Mark Narmore (Sandy); two grandchildren, Elizabeth Faith Narmore and Joshua Benton Narmore. He is preceded in death by his father; Mark Elledge Narmore, mother; Laura James Narmore, brothers Ernest, Elmer, Ed, Ellis, Will, and John Narmore, and sisters; Velma Franks and Julia Waldrep.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Narmore, Lindon Oldham, Danon Hamilton, Caleb Waddell, Greg Nuby, Holden Corum and Barron Hamilton.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ricky Irons and staff, Dr. Holden, Dr. Ba’Albaki, and the wonderful nursing staff at ECM and Glenwood Nursing and Rehab.
