The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Velma England can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I have been blessed by knowing Velma for the last 25 years. We had many good visits when I preached at Jackson Heights church of Christ. She was a unique lady and loved the Lord. I am thankful that her earthly hardships and limitations are past. She has a blessed eternity to enjoy. My prayers are with her family and survivors.

Condolence: Aunt Velma is my great aunt. My mother, Mary Wallace Fuqua is her niece. So very sorry to hear of Aunt Velma's passing. Mama cannot be there for she is not in good health herself, and is still grieving the loss of my daddy(Malcolm). We will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers during this sad time.
