Sarah Jane Veach Edmundson
Sarah Jane Veach Edmundson age 93, of Florence passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday, August 6, 2016 from 10:30am till 11:00am at First Christian Church of Florence. Memorial Services to follow at 11:00am with Rev. James Storie officiating. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband R.B. Edmundson. Her son, Bert Edmundson. Two brothers, James Lewis Veach and Henry Veach. And her parents Henry Stephen and Anna Sherry Veach.
Sarah is survived by her daughter Anna McLemore. A granddaughter, Kristin Dickinson (Tony). Two grandsons, William Kyle McLemore and Kevin Michael McLemore (Rachel). Great grandson, Garrett Neil Dickinson and great granddaughter Veda Korren McIntyre. And her sister Agnes Wiedemeyer.
Mrs. Edmundson was a member of First Christian Church of Florence. A 1939 graduate of Coffee High School and attended UNA. She spent 44 years working with TVA. And the love of her life was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
