Grady Eugene  Sledge
Grady E. Sledge, 94 of Killen passed away Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, August 11, 2017 from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence; services will follow at 1:00 pm. Brother David McKelvey and Ned Cox will officiate. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

He is survived by ; sons, Douglas A. Sledge( Rebecca), David E. Sledge (Regina), grandchildren; Christie Woodruff (Shane), David R. Sledge (Michelle), Ben Sledge (Tina), and Vincent Dooley, Stephan Sledge (Melissa), Jennifer Elizabeth Sledge, Thomas A. Sledge (Deanna) great grandchildren; Alexis, Sydney , and Ryann Harris, Cole and Dustin Woodruff, Sara , Ruby , Eli , Eva, Sydney, Blake, Savanna, Claire, Harper, and Thorne Sledge; brother, Thomas Sledge

Grady was a graduate of Deshler High School , an active member in the Masonic lodge and Eastern Star. a founding member of York Terrace Baptist Church In Sheffield and a lifelong member of The Baptist Church where he served as deacon most of his adult life.

Pallbearers will be His Sunday School Class at Killen First Baptist Church
