Obituary for Paul Glenn Tate

Paul G. Tate, 87, of Killen died Monday, October 9, 2017, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017, 10 AM to 12 PM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 12 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Tim Akers officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.
Mr. Tate served in the US Army. He retired from TVA after 20 plus years. He attended Bluewater Primitive Baptist Church. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed.
Mr. Tate was preceded in death by his wife Josephine McLaughlin Tate; grandchildren, Christopher and Kevin Fincher; son-in-law, Glenn Fincher.
Mr. Tate is survived by his daughters, Brenda Trousdale (Mike), Paulette Fincher, Kathy Pounders (Ricky), and Teresa Childers (Jeff); son, David Tate (Carolyn); nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Horace Tate, Donald Tate, and Bobby Tate; sisters, Shirley Pugh and Janie Lungsford; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Johnathon Tate, Matthew Tate, Randal Hines, Wesley Heathcoat, Jamie Shea, and Garrett Hines.
