Emily Jo Wade (Wooden)
Emily Wooden Wade, 58, of Killen passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Elkins Funeral Home in Florence. A service will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Elkins Funeral Home. Shawn Smith and Gary Patton will be officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer and Gladys Cornelius; and James and Mollie Wooden; and her parents, James and Cassie Wooden.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Reanne Wade; sons, Joshua Louis Wade (Crystal), James David Wade (Rebecca); honorary daughter, Jennifer Harris (Matthew); honorary grandchildren, Aubrey Charles Harris, Owen Fisher Harris, and Randy Lynn Calhoun Jr.; brother, Gerald Dewayne Wooden; sisters, Janice Annette James (Gary),Tommie Sue Thigpen (Mark); Honorary sisters, Mary Pickard, and Lois Spires, Regina Leopard; nieces; Sarah, Amanda(Aaron),and Jenna; nephews, Marcus, Zach, and James
Mrs. Wade was a 1977 graduate of Coffee High School and an active member of East Florence Church of Christ. She loved spending her time doing crafts, sewing, reading, baking and loved to watch Alabama Football.
Pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary pallbearer will be Pyson Frye.
The family would like to give special thanks to ECM hospital, Dr. Hames, Dr. Bowen, Dr. Stephen Phillips, Dr. Walker, Dr. Webb, the Nurses on 2 west, a special thank you to Tiffany Whitten her ICU Nurse.
