Obituary for Shirley R. Furnari

Shirley R. Furnari, 79, of Florence passed away Wednesday, December 20 ,2017 at her home. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence from 12:00 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. A graveside service will follow at Tri-cites Memorial Garden’s beginning at 2:00 P.M.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lurie James and Odie J. Robertson; sons, Joseph ray Furnari and Michael Louis Furnari; and 11 brothers and sisters

She is survived by her son, Jerome “Jerry” Frank Furnari (Charlotte); daughters Janice Hunt (Larry “Jackie”) ad Lise Shelton; grandchildren, Larry Hunt Jr. , Tasha Wood(Chris), Rhonda Gray (Chad), Josh Shelton and Marquritta Wallace; 8 Great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
