Obituary for Bobby Hawkins Perry

Bobby Hawkins Perry, KCCH, formerly of Florence Alabama, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 25, 2017 at 11:50 AM at Meadowbrook Health and Rehab in Pulaski, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Friday, January 5, 2018, 11 AM to 1 PM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the Chapel with Roger Reedy and Kenneth Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Bobby moved to The Hewitt House in Pulaski, Tennessee August 2008. it was there that he became a member of Second Street Church of Christ. He was a Mason and a 32nd degree Scottish Rite. He was a member at Greenhill Lodge #402, and Shoals Valley Scottish Rite. Bobby graduated from Rogers High School in 1959. He retired from Reynolds Metal.

He loved his home state, and politics relating to Alabama. Bobby was an avid fan of The Crimson Tide.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Olsford and Cleo Perry; brother, Marcus Perry; sister, Patsy Perry Clemmons.

He is survived by his son, Bobby Kennedy Perry (Anita); daughter, Laura Perry Morris (David); grandchildren, Joseph Perry (Audrey), Ashlee Morris Bonetti (Vince), and Wesley Morris (Emma); great-grandchildren, Abigail, Lileigh, Austin, and Zekey Perry, and Jenson Morris; special nephews, Joey Perry, Mickey Perry, Robin Perry, and Mitch Clemmons.

Pallbearers will be Robert Chard, Elvis Haithcoat, Danny Jones, Philip Lemay, Anthony McGill, and Lonnie Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Alzheimers Association 117 A Longwood Drive Huntsville, Alabama 35801.
