To Cheri, Chuck, and Deana, and all of Wanda's family: I received the news of Wanda's passing with great sorrow. Early in my 13 years teaching music in Florence, she became a dear and greatly valued friend and colleague, whose musical talents and achievements I held in high esteem. In addition to those, she was unfailingly warm, gracious, kind, thoughtful, and generous; she was beautiful in every sense of the word. I am so thankful that she came into my life, and even in death I know she will never leave it. May she rest in peace and rise in glory, and may God grant you consolation in this hard loss.
