Obituary for Ann Gresham Barnett

Ann Gresham Barnett, 89, of Rogersville died Thursday, January 11, 2018, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Monday, January 15, 2018, 11 AM to 1 PM at Rogersville United Methodist Church. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with Robert Lancaster and Don Barnett officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Mrs. Barnett was born July 3, 1928, she graduated from Coffee High School and School of Nursing South Highlands Infirmary. She was a past member of Rogersville Civitan Club, Riverbend Mental Health Board, and Electoral Poll Worker in Rogersville. She was a member of Rogersville United Methodist Church, former member Administrative Board, Building Fund Treasurer, and member of various committees. She loved reading, traveling, Bible studies, and spending time with family and friends.
Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Rudolph Barnett and parents, William Henry and Georgia Gresham; and ten siblings.
Mrs. Barnett is survived by her daughter, Susan Barnett; two sons, Tim Barnett (Teresa) and Don Barnett (Tangie); grandchildren, Brandy Borrelli (Eli), Daniel Barnett, Micah Barnett, and Bethany Barnett; brother, Lawrence Gresham; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be John Gresham, Jr., Mark Gresham, Deron Tays, Eli Borrelli, Daniel Barnett, and Micah Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Gresham and members of Hannah Sunday School Class.
Special thanks to the staff of Green Oaks Inn, Doctors Danny Martin, Sean Rhuland, Evans Nimako, and Robert Webb; Home Instead Caregivers; the 6th floor nurses and technicians at ECM Hospital; and her Rogersville United Methodist Church family.
