Kent Holden
Kent Holden, 55, of Killen died Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at his residence.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2016, at Elkins East Chapel from 6-9 PM. Funeral services will be Friday, August 5, 2016, 2 PM at Elkins East Chapel, he will lie in state from 1-2 PM. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.
Kent loved the Lord. His pride and joy was his grandson Ashton. He loved his mom for all the special things she did for him and the great care she gave him. He thanked the Lord daily for the mom he was blessed with. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a graduate of Lexington High School. Kent was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide Fan. Kent was retired from TVA power house in Muscle Shoals.
Kent was preceded in death by his father, Milton Holden.
Kent is survived by his mother, Gale Hale and step dad, Bud; daughter, Sheena Holden; grandson, Ashton Kage McLemore; best friend and cousin, that was as close as a brother, Gary Holden and wife Glenda for all the many, many things that they done for Kent, without them he could not have lived alone; special pets, “Socks and Zoe”; neighbors and friends that were always bringing something by to eat and to visit, Rink Michael for keeping the house in order and loving on Kent.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Holden, Jakeb Holden, Matt Holden, Eric McLemore, Colt Burgess, and Gary Holden.
