Obituary for John "Ed" Edward Lisby Sr.

John “Ed” Edward Lisby Sr. age 85 of Florence passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. Visitation was held private. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, 2:00 P.M. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Eric Brown officiating. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence in charge.

Ed is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce Lisby. Three sons; Tony Lisby, John E. Lisby Jr. (Shellaine) and Mike Lisby. Two daughters; Debbie Foster (Terry) and Renee Lisby (Billy). Eight grandchildren; Terry Foster, John E. Lisby III, Jamie Lynn Lisby, Leah Foster, James McCreless (Abby), Haleigh Bain (Skylar), Chelsie Lisby (Logan) and Paige Pitts. Great-Grandchildren; Damien Dragon, Shailynn Beasley, Ace Bain, Kaylynn Vickery, Braylyn Futrell, Gaige Vickery, Jack Bain, Charleigh Bain, Brantley McCreless, Carter Smith and a little one due in February.

Ed is a Army veteran and served in the Korean War.

Pallbearers will be Tony Lisby, John Lisby Jr., Mike Lisby, James McCreless, Terry Foster and Cody Sanchez.
