Obituary for Willodean Pigg Danley

Willodean Pigg Danley age 85 of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2016. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the First Freewill Baptist Church of Florence on Florence Blvd. Services will be at the church at 2:00 P.M. with Reverand Mike Crews and Bro. Phil Cooper officiating. Burial to follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with pallbearers being family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband Reeder A. Danley and son Clifford Wade Danley. Three brothers, Roy, Leo “Buddy”, and Clifford Pigg, along with three sisters, Ruby Dean Pigg, Grethel Bretko and Cleo Hefner.

Willodean is survived by her son, Mike Danley (Miranda), daughter Beverly Horton (Philip). Four grandchildren, Michael Danley (Jessica), Melissa Danley, Matthew Horton (Dewanna), and Jessica Danley. Three great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob and Hannah Danley.

She attended First Freewill Baptist Church, was a member of the Senior Saints and a 1953 graduate of Coffee High School and a member of the Coffee Girls Club of 53.

The family would like to thank and acknowledge the special caregivers, Linda Rogers, Cindy Vickery, Janet Wallace and Jessica Danley along with all the wonderful help of the Gentiva Staff.
