Obituary for Martha Evelyn Twiss

Martha Evelyn Glover Twiss age 73 of Florence passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. Visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M. till 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Services will be at 11:00 A.M in the chapel and burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leo Glover and her parents John William and Mary Elizabeth Carroll.

Martha is survived by her children; Casey Glover (Penni), John Glover (Melinda), Mark Glover (Jessica) and Genny Twiss Whitworth. Grandchildren; Taylor, Hope, Avery, Mark Edward, Leo and Shanley Glover. Great-grandchildren; John Maddox Glover and Nalani Adair Glover. Sister, Melissa Lemmons (Johnny). Nine nephews and five nieces.


The family would like to extend a special thanks to the 6th floor nurses and staff of ECM. Terry Griffin; ECM social worker.
