Obituary for Neal Young

Neal Frederick Young, 73, of Florence died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Rehab Center.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, December 10, 2016, 11 AM at the home of Mr. Young, 109 Hawksberry Lane Florence, Alabama 35633. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mr. Young was a graduate of the University of Michigan. He attended St. Michael Catholic Church. He enjoyed Ballroom dancing and was a member of Muscle Shoals Area Street Rod and a supporter of Wounded Warriors.

Mr. Young was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Gay Rhea; father, Louis Young; mother, Helen Baker; mother-in-law, Pearl Adele Rhea.

Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Brenda Gargis Young; daughter, Lisa Marie Young Jimenez and husband Gerado; son, Daniel Christopher Young; step daughter, Amber Agee; grandchild, Tory Louis Fandino; step grandchildren, Brooklyn Curran and Tennis Agee.
